Mobile tyre fitting in Kilmuir.
For a scheduled tyre fitting around Kilmuir, choose the location where the car will remain instead of naming the whole area. A township and property entrance help dispatch distinguish a home or holiday stay from a visitor car park. Explain the parking surface and any access instructions for a service van.

Kilmuir, in practical terms
Plan fitting at one confirmed Kilmuir location
Kilmuir names part of northern Trotternish associated with several local destinations rather than one universal meeting place. A vehicle at a holiday property, near a visitor site or on the surrounding route needs its own clear location. Add the township, property name and pin, and describe the final access. Dispatch uses those details to assess the journey and safe working area instead of assuming that every Kilmuir enquiry is at the same landmark.
The approach to your vehicle.
- Include the township or property as well as the Kilmuir area name.
- If using a visitor car park, identify the operator and check work is permitted.
- Explain any gates or restricted entrance before a van is routed to the site.
What this service involves.
Arrange a tyre visit without planning a separate journey to a garage. Tell us about your vehicle, the tyre you need and where it will be parked. The team checks the tyre specification, fitter availability and access before confirming the appointment. For a vehicle that can remain parked safely, a next-day slot has a lower proposed callout charge than urgent attendance.
Good to know
Your Kilmuir tyre visit.
Can we arrange fitting at our Kilmuir holiday cottage?
Send the entrance pin, parking details and a period when the vehicle will stay there. With owner permission, the team can assess suitability and an appointment; cottage parking does not automatically guarantee safe working space.
Can I book from the vehicle registration alone?
A registration lookup can help identify the vehicle, but it does not prove the tyre currently fitted. Please confirm the sidewall size or send a clear photo before the tyre is ordered.
Is the tyre included in the callout charge?
No. The proposed £39 next-day or £69 urgent callout is separate from tyre supply and any additional work. The team must confirm your total quote before you agree to proceed.
How is arrival time checked for Kilmuir?
Our target response is 7–15 minutes when a suitable fitter is nearby. Your location, fitter availability, road conditions and weather affect arrival time. We confirm an estimate before dispatch.
