A CLEARER NEXT STEP

Flat tire on your road trip?

You don’t need to know the island to explain where you are. Start with a pin, a parking place and a number we can reach.

  1. 01

    Share where the car is.

Use the actual vehicle position and entrance, with the property or parking name if you have one.

  2. 02

    Tell us what you’re driving.

Send the registration, tyre size or a sidewall photo. Mention a hire car, campervan or missing locking key.

  3. 03

    Confirm the visit.

We check availability, a suitable working place, the full quote and your arrival estimate.

Our target response is 7–15 minutes when a suitable fitter is nearby. Your location, fitter availability, road conditions and weather affect arrival time. We confirm an estimate before dispatch.

FIT THE PLAN TO YOUR STAY

Your vehicle.
A few useful details.

A hire agreement, a holiday driveway and a campsite each need a slightly different conversation.

OUT EXPLORING?

Tell us where
you’ve stopped.

A familiar landmark gives context. The vehicle’s pin and parking details help us assess the actual visit.

01

The Storr

Give the actual parking place and vehicle pin, rather than the walking destination. Tell us whether your group can return with the key.

02

The Quiraing

Describe where the vehicle has stopped and which way you approached. An entrance or parking pin helps the team assess the route and working space.

03

Fairy Pools

Share the vehicle’s position, parking access and when someone with the key will be available. A sightseeing stop needs its own access check.

Neist Point

Tell us where the car can be reached, including the final approach and available space. If you are staying nearby, give that address separately.

BEFORE YOUR NEXT CROSSING

A ferry to catch?

Share the operator’s vehicle check-in deadline and where the car is parked. Confirm the tyre visit before relying on onward plans; an enquiry cannot guarantee a sailing connection.

Plan around your ferry
LESS GUESSWORK. A BETTER ENQUIRY.

A little preparation.
Then a clearer plan.

  • The parked vehicle’s address or pin, with entrance and access notes.
  • Registration, tyre markings or a clear sidewall photo.
  • A contact number and any checkout, ferry or hire-car return deadline.
  • Permission for the work, and someone available with the vehicle key.

Good to know

A few questions, before you book.

Can I request tyre help while visiting Skye?

Yes. Share the vehicle’s actual location, contact details and tyre information. The team checks the job, access, tyre suitability and availability before confirming a visit and quote.

Can you help with a flat tire in a rental car?

Tell the rental company first and check their assistance and authorisation process. You can enquire with us, but work and tyre orders need the appropriate approval. Any cover or reimbursement depends on your rental agreement.

Can the fitter meet me at my hotel or holiday cottage?

A mobile visit can be assessed where work is permitted and there is suitable access and space. Ask your host, share the exact entrance and explain where the vehicle is parked. Reception or the centre of a postcode may be a different location.

Do you attend every campervan or motorhome?

Suitability is assessed individually. Provide the vehicle weight, wheel layout, tyre markings and parking details before a visit is agreed. A campervan enquiry does not confirm that every vehicle or campsite pitch can be accepted.

How soon can a fitter arrive?

Our target response is 7–15 minutes when a suitable fitter is nearby. Your location, fitter availability, road conditions and weather affect arrival time. We confirm an estimate before dispatch.

Can a tyre appointment guarantee my ferry connection?

No. Share the operator’s vehicle check-in deadline and where the car is parked so the team can discuss practical options. Confirm your tyre arrangements and any travel changes separately before relying on the connection.
