Tell us what would make your tyre appointment easier

A mobile appointment can reduce the need to organise a separate garage trip, but every customer’s circumstances are different. Tell the team what would make communication and vehicle access easier for you. The arrangements should be discussed before the visit rather than left for the fitter to discover.

Choose a useful way to communicate

If a telephone conversation is difficult, explain your preferred contact method when you enquire. Say whether a trusted person will help with the booking and whether updates should go through them. The team still needs an agreed way to confirm the quote and any change during the appointment.

Share the practical arrangement rather than personal information that is not needed for the job. For example, a request for written updates or a call before arrival may explain the requirement clearly.

Agree who will provide the vehicle keys

A customer does not have to be the person physically handing over the keys in every possible arrangement, but this must be agreed beforehand. Name the person meeting the fitter and establish who can authorise the work. Do not leave keys outside or assume an unattended visit is accepted.

If the locking wheel nut key is stored separately, explain how it will be made available too. A smooth handover prevents a communication preference becoming an equipment problem.

Describe the access around the vehicle

Explain gates, steps between the entrance and parking, and any shared route that must remain clear. The fitter needs a suitable work site, and you may need a clear route to or from the building. Discuss both when choosing the parking position.

If a carer, relative or property manager will help, agree the meeting arrangements with them. An address alone does not explain who is available at the appointment time.

Confirm the details that matter to you

Before relying on the visit, ask the team to confirm the contact plan, fitting location and appointment arrangements. The service cannot promise that every request can be accommodated, but knowing the requirements early makes it possible to discuss a workable option.

A LITTLE PREPARATION

Before you book

  • State your preferred contact method.
  • Agree who will meet and authorise the fitter.
  • Explain access and any route to keep clear.
  • Confirm the arrangement before the appointment.
YOUR NEXT STEP

Your tyres, taken care of.

Choose a visit that fits your day. Share your vehicle and location, and we’ll confirm the right tyre, appointment and full quote.

GOOD TO KNOW

Your questions, answered.

Can a relative arrange the appointment for me?

A relative can help with the enquiry. Agree who can approve the work, who will provide keys and which contact the team should use for confirmation.

Can you guarantee every access request?

No blanket promise is made. Explain the practical requirement before booking so the team can confirm what is possible for that vehicle, location and appointment.
