Read the parking name before submitting the address
Highland Council lists Bayfield parking with a Lisigarry Court address. Portree and Braes Community Trust distinguishes Bayfield and adjacent Lisigarry Court parking in its visitor information. Read the signs or payment record for the actual location rather than assuming all waterfront parking shares one name.
Send registration, colour and a pin at your bay. Add the entrance used to reach it. A photo of a nearby fixed sign can support the description where it can be obtained without leaving a suitable position.
Keep harbour operations separate from visitor parking
Highland Council describes Portree Harbour as an operational harbour with a working main pier. A harbour map marker does not establish public vehicle access or permission for tyre work. If the car is within a controlled area, ask the responsible staff about the proposed attendance.
In ordinary parking, describe the available room around the affected wheel and any barriers. Follow current parking instructions and tell the team about a stay limit or access restriction; a fitting appointment does not change the operator’s rules.
Give the fitter a vehicle-specific request
Provide the complete tyre marking, affected wheel and symptoms. Mention any warning, visible damage or repair kit already used. Find the locking wheel nut key and keep the car keys with the named meeting contact.
If it is a hire vehicle, contact the rental company through the agreement’s assistance process and obtain its instructions for work approval. Include relevant specification conditions and the person who can approve the proposed job while the vehicle remains parked.
Confirm the practical appointment before returning to town plans
Tell the team about accommodation checkout, ferry travel or another deadline separately from the attendance address. Review actual appointment and supply options for the vehicle. Keep your telephone available if you are waiting away from the bay.
Before accepting replacement, review the complete total and agreed service. A confirmed replacement quote includes selected tyre supply and fitting. Update the booking if staff require a different parking arrangement or another assistance provider takes responsibility.
Before you book
- Read the actual car park or property name.
- Share the vehicle pin, bay and entrance.
- Check operator access and parking instructions.
- Prepare tyre details, locking key and hire approval.
Your tyres, taken care of.
Tell us where you’ve safely stopped and what your vehicle needs. We’ll check availability and confirm your quote and arrival estimate.
Your questions, answered.
Is the harbour map pin sufficient?
Use the car’s actual parking pin and name the specific parking area or property. Harbour operations and nearby visitor parking have different access arrangements.
Does booking tyre help extend my parking stay?
The parking operator’s conditions still apply. Tell the team about the current stay limit and discuss the situation with the operator if the car has a problem.
