Get the parking arrangements agreed first
Before booking, ask the person responsible for the car park whether mobile tyre work can take place there. Explain that a service van needs access to the vehicle and an appropriate working area. Send any site requirements to the team before the appointment is accepted.
Provide the business name, full address, entrance and exact parking location. Mention barriers, height limits, allocated bays or visitor registration. A large workplace can have several entrances, and sending only the company postcode may leave the fitter at a reception desk far from the vehicle.
Make the keys and decisions accessible
Choose a time when your car will remain on site. If you have meetings, shift changes or limited phone access, nominate someone who can meet the fitter. Tell the booking team how to reach that person and make clear whether they can approve changes to the quote.
Have the vehicle key and locking wheel nut key available at the agreed handover point. If it is a company vehicle, check who has authority to arrange the work and accept the cost. Do not assume your employer, a fleet manager or the vehicle owner will automatically approve a private booking.
Book one vehicle clearly before coordinating several
For a single car, send its registration, tyre size and quantity, then select a suitable planned window. The proposed planned callout estimate is £39; tyres and additional work are separate. Ask for the complete quote and keep the booking reference where you can find it during the day.
If colleagues or several company vehicles also need tyres, discuss them as a coordinated enquiry. Each vehicle may need different tyres, access and appointment time. Adding several cars to one person’s notes does not reserve capacity for them or establish a fleet agreement. The team needs to assess the group before promising a plan.
Before you book
- Confirm permission with the site manager.
- Share the correct vehicle entrance and bay.
- Arrange keys and an authorised contact.
- List extra vehicles as a separate enquiry.
Your tyres, taken care of.
Choose a visit that fits your day. Share your vehicle and location, and we’ll confirm the right tyre, appointment and full quote.
Your questions, answered.
Can I book while I am in meetings?
Discuss access and approval arrangements first. A named person needs to be reachable for the key, vehicle location and any decisions required for the work.
Can several colleagues use one appointment?
Ask the team to assess the number of cars, tyre specifications and time required. One reservation should not be assumed to cover additional vehicles.
